She graduated from the University of North Texas receiving her bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Addiction Treatments and later received her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas graduate program. Throughout her clinical career, Salinas has enjoyed helping both students and adults reach their full potential both on and off the field with physical and mental health education. Salinas recognizes the physical toll and the psychological implications of stress and pressures that can come with years of an athletic career and hopes to one day shift her focus to providing therapeutic treatment to athletes in a collegiate setting.
In her spare time Salinas likes to hang with her loved ones at home, box at her gym and hike, with her most recent conquest being Kilimanjaro this past Dec 2022.
